“Be yourself; everyone else is taken.”

– Oscar Wilde –

I have been designing professionally in the digital space for 10+ years, and knew from the age of 14 that I wanted to be a designer.  I thrive on creativity and I have a passion for innovation; I feel lucky that I have been able to carve out a career that has helped propel both these skills. Prior to freelance I was Lead Designer at Hactar a digital studio with a commitment to social good. Working primarily with charities and Social Enterprises, I found that my experience working with startups really helped. As often with startups and charities the budgets are small, and quite often one person is doing a multiple of jobs.

If you follow my Instagram account you will see that my other passion is travel, and I have been able to combine this with my work. My work has taken me from London to Berlin, New York, Sydney and Goa. I was co founder and Design Director at DCCPER; a digital studio that worked with startups as Co founders. We had offices based in London, Toronto and Goa with 50+  employees and over 100 clients. As is often the case with startups, I was involved in every aspect of the business whether it’s meeting and pitching to new clients, developing fresh and creative designs and products, or dealing with the day-to-day admin. It’s a busy job and no two days are the same.

Before relocating to Goa and setting up DCCPER, I worked for a number of leading advertising agencies in London, including AKQA, Publicis, Tequila TBWA, Y&R and Glue Isobar. It was during this time that I honed my skills as an accomplished graphic designer working on large campaigns for clients including Nike, MTV, Lloyds Bank, M&S, Virgin, HSBC, Nissan, VW, Jaguar & Landrover plus many more.

I graduated from the University of Creative Artsin 2007 with a BA in Graphic Design and New Media. My final year project got featured in the annual D&AD student new blood. My ‘Eternal Calendar’ work won a design award and was sold in several shops across London.
